The reigning world Cup winner Martin Fourcade in pursuit confirmed his yesterday’s victory in the sprint.
Fourcade started with a 14-second lead over closest pursuer – the Frenchman has relied on the shooting and once again it has paid off. All attempts of competitors at the expense of speed on the course to destabilize the situation Fourcade was not successful.
The main competitor of Fourcade after the first shooting was the Russian Anton Shipulin, with whom the Frenchman walked the distance until the last lap.
