“Bezviz” for Ukraine with the EU: there’s a disturbing forecast

A number of EU member States can refuse to “bizwise” with Ukraine.

Individual EU countries will take advantage of sections of domestic legislation and refuse to provide the citizens of Ukraine visa-free visits to the territory of the EU.

A personal opinion expressed by the European expert in the field of international law, Knut Berg.

According to the analyst, certain restrictions for Ukrainians will enter Austria, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands and Sweden.

“These relatively rich countries of United Europe are afraid of the influx of refugees from Ukraine, – said, in particular, he said. – Retain the right not to obey the decision of the European Parliament, they plan to protect themselves from illegals”.

How such measures are introduced, the expert has not explained.

We will remind, on 6 April the European Parliament supported the introduction of a visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens. It is expected that the innovation will come into force within the next two months.
