Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on the new console will boast an expanded color reproduction and increased resolution.
Sales of Xbox One X starting today, however, some large companies still continue to announce improvements to the new console from Microsoft. For example, the publisher Bethesda Softworks has announced that it will release the appropriate updates for seven games from their catalog. And two more games will become more beautiful thanks to the magic of backwards compatibility.
Bethesda emphasizes that these changes are preliminary. Details about each patch will be made public closer to the release of these patches. Therefore, it is likely that the final list of graphical improvements will be added.
II Wolfenstein: The New Colossus:
● Supports 4K resolution;
● Dynamic resolution.
Fallout 4:
● Supports 4K resolution;
● Dynamic resolution;
● Increased the range of drawing grass, trees, objects and NPCs;
● Improved “divine rays”.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition:
● Supports 4K resolution;
● Dynamic resolution.
Borderlands 2 and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider:
● Supports 4K resolution;
● Dynamic resolution;
● Stability improvements framerate;
● Textures in 4K;
● Improved draw distance geometry and textures;
● Improved smoothing;
● Improved quality of shadows.
The Evil Within 2:
● High resolution (judging by the fresh patch 3200×1800);
● Increased frame rate;
● Disabled a limit of 30 frames per second.
The Elder Scrolls Online:
● Native 4K and HDR;
● Increased visibility;
● Improved shadows with SSAO effect;
● Improved reflection on the water.
Patches for The Evil Within and Wolfenstein 2 II: The New Colossus is already available. Patch for The Elder Scrolls Online should appear today. Other updates Bethesda plans to release during the current quarter and next year. Some of the above will be available on PlayStation 4 Pro.
In addition, the list of improved games for Xbox One X even classic with the Xbox 360 for backward compatibility. Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on the new console will boast an expanded color reproduction and increased resolution nine times higher than on the Xbox 360.
