Because of the exercises “West-2017” in the Belarusian city imposed a curfew

The local government reminded residents about the dangers of being on-site landfills.

A curfew imposed in the town of Glubokoye, Vitebsk region of Belarus due to the joint Belarusian-Russian exercises “West-2017,” according to the website of Gluboksky district Executive Committee.

“In connection with carrying out in the territory of Gluboksky area of the exercise on territorial defense under the joint strategic exercises of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia “West–2017″ in Deep with 14 to 20 September 2017 22:00 to 06:00 curfews”, — stated in the message.

According to the law during curfew it is forbidden to be outside without the need for dwellings to move between towns without identity documents or proof of identity.

According to the Ministry of defence of the country, the first day of the exercise in the Gluboksky district worked out the issues of organizing territorial defense: duty, patrolling units of the territorial army, together with units of the interior troops, security and defense of important objects involved in the fight against sabotage-reconnaissance groups and illegal armed groups. In accordance with the plan of military training in 2017 to participate in the teaching is designed around 470 soldiers.

The local government reminded residents about the dangers of being on-site landfills. The violators of the established boundaries is threatened with administrative punishment. Barysau district Executive Committee said on its website that “in order to avoid accidents and victims at the landfill site is strictly prohibited collecting scrap metal and particularly unexploded ordnance, as upon the slightest movement of such projectile may explode, travel and passage of all citizens, grazing, collecting firewood and collecting any fallen trees and shrubs, mowing hay, collecting mushrooms and berries”.

Strategic exercises “West-2017” held 14-20 September on the territory of Belarus, as well as on three sites of the Russian Federation. The total number of the personnel participating in the exercises, is 12.7 thousand military personnel. For working off of practical actions of troops during military exercises in Belarus are 227 military polygon “Borisov”, 174 training ground of the air forces and air defense “Domanovsky”, 210 aviation landfill “Ruzhany” polygons “Lepel”, “Losvido”, “osipovichsky” and two plot of land in the Vitebsk region “Dretun” and “Deep”.
