The Council decides on the diversification of sources of supply of energy coal.
The Council of national security and defence (NSDC) of Ukraine at today’s meeting will consider urgent measures to neutralize threats to energy security of the country. This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at events commemorating the Day honoring the combatants in territories of other States Thursday, February 16.
“Today at the NSDC meeting will consider urgent measures to neutralize threats to energy security of Ukraine. We will take additional decisions on the diversification of sources of supply of thermal coal, while not forgetting coal, which is mined in the occupied territories, is Ukrainian and must take their part in the energy balance of Ukraine”, – he said
Poroshenko also believes that the government will find optimal ways to unlock. “We will protect the rights of citizens of Ukraine on this, and on the other side of the line of differentiation”, – the President added.
