German banker claim to the post of Chairman of the Board of PrivatBank.

Chairman of the Board of PrivatBank, which was nationalized in December 2016, can be released in a few days. The question of dismissal of the head of this, now the state Bank, Oleksandr Shlapak, the Supervisory Board of the financial institution plans to consider on July 20.

The period of selection of the candidate – two weeks. Thus, the new Governor of the Bank may be appointed by the Supervisory Board of PrivatBank at the end of July. It will select from the proposed Agency candidates.
The list of applicants is still unknown. None of the Ukrainian financiers publicly expressed his desire to lead the Privat. Potential applicants are afraid of difficulties that may arise in a new place of work. “Private now – the electric chair. None of locals don’t even want to go to the competition”, – said the Agency interlocutor.
In the absence of Ukrainian applicants, the post of the Chairman of the Board Privat may take a foreigner. According to Ukrainian news, this position will be to apply the German banker Reiner Mueller-Hanke.
