Became known, when will expire a political asylum to Yanukovych in Russia

The document is effective until October 2017.

The validity period of the temporary political asylum to former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych expires in October 2017.

This was stated by the Prosecutor of Department of the Main military Prosecutor Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko.

“The original document (receipt Yanukovych temporary asylum in Russia. – Ed.) we did not see, saw only a copy. The Prosecutor General’s office and the defense gave us only a copy of this document. He has the power, allegedly, until October 2017,” – said Kravchenko.

At the same time, Kravchenko added that the HCP has no proof that the document provided by the Prosecutor General’s office is true, as the original has not been seen.

We will remind, Yanukovych left Ukraine in February 2014 after the mass executions in the center of Kiev. In October 2016 the lawyer Yanukovych Vitaliy Serdyuk said that the ex-President of Ukraine have received temporary asylum in Russia.
