Bezviz complements mutual trips by ID cards.
From March 1 shall enter into force the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Georgia on mutual abolition of visa requirements. The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine said that in addition to the existing bezveze introduced mutual trips of citizens of Ukraine and Georgia on the basis of internal passports in the form of a ID card containing a contactless electronic media.
Recall, October 5, 2018 Ukraine and Georgia signed an agreement on mutual abolition of visa requirements, which will allow citizens of both countries to travel for ID-passports.
In accordance with the agreement, citizens of Ukraine can stay on the territory of Georgia (and Vice versa) without a visa for 90 days (annually) on the basis of internal passports in the form of ID card with contactless electronic media.
Prior to this act the agreement on visa-free trips of citizens of 31 March 1999. Trips were carried out on the basis of passports.
