Roscosmos promises the launch of a new Ukrainian space satellite in 2017.
State space Agency of Ukraine reports that the first national communication satellite “Lybid” is assembled and can be launched in 2017.
The satellite is fully assembled, has passed all tests and is in storage until shipment to the launch site.
“Lybid” was planning to launch earlier, but the annexation of the Crimea led to the delay of the project. Government has already invested in the project $335,4 million
