Previous studies have shown that eruptions are Lucy gases associated with the magma, but still no one was able to prove the connection of Lucy with the volcanic complex of Arjuno-Welirang. With the help of seismometers, an international team of researchers has created a 3D map of the earth under the volcano and found the tunnel system, connecting Lucy and Arjuno.
