Became known, the number of measles victims in Ukraine

Since the beginning of the outbreak of measles in Ukraine fell ill more than 100 thousand people, 37 of whom died.

On 25 APR measles in Ukraine got sick of 43.7 thousand people, and from complications from measles died 16. This was reported in the public health Center of Ministry of health.

“Since the beginning of the year (December 28, 2018 to April 25, 2019) measles ill 43 783 person – 20 359 424 adults and 23 children. Complications from measles died 16 people. Complications from measles died 12-year-old girl who could not be vaccinated using contraindications to the vaccine,” – said in the message.

Thus, according to the operative data of the public health Center of Ministry of health of Ukraine, during the 17th week of 2019 measles ill 2 175 – 1108 1067 adults and children.
