41-year-old Melnichny Ivan Miller was killed when performing official duties in the Luhansk region.
On Tuesday, July 17, at 7:30 during the execution of the official tasks in the Luhansk region killed a soldier of the 14th mechanized brigade of the 41-year-old Melnichny Ivan Miller. This was reported by the coordinator of the center for assistance to participants of ATO Natalia Zekar.
“The news of the death of Ivan came tonight. He served on the contract in the 14-th separate mechanized brigade. It was not his first rotation to the East. Ivan was mobilized and fought in the National guard. Then returned home, signed the contract and went on to defend Ukraine from invaders. About the circumstances of death is still unknown. I know that the man died at the checkpoint near the village Ekaterinovka of the Popasnyansky region of the Luhansk region”, – said Zacar.
Now we are collecting necessary documents to the body of the deceased was transported to Odessa. Date of farewell to the fighter is also not yet known.
The deceased left a pensioner mother.
