Crossovers are the most popular class of cars in Europe.
This is evidenced by recent statistics of new car sales, which was published by Jato Dynamics.
According to the Agency, in April 2017 the SUV took almost 28% of the European car market.
The most popular crossover this year in Europe – the Nissan Qashqai. For four months the Japanese managed to sell 92 202 cars of this model. From January through April sales “Kashkaev” in European countries increased by 10.2%.
The second place got the Volkswagen Tiguan. With the beginning of the year, Europeans bought 85 936 “tiguana”. The German SUV sales are growing rapidly. Compared with 2016, the demand for cars increased by nearly 76%. The pace Tiguan will soon catch up with “Japanese”.
Third place – for compact crossover from the French Renault Captur. In January-April the new French industry bought 71 365 inhabitants of Europe.
