In the Shevchenko district — the second month of a large-scale accident victims. Yesterday afternoon, at 15:58, thundered explosion in a residential building in burmistenko str, 12. The elderly woman was lost.
“LIVED ALONE”. The explosion in the apartment on the first floor of a 9-etazhki was such force that he hit the floor. There was no fire, but the pieces of glass, wood, concrete, crockery, shoes scattered on some tens metres. At the emergency immediately arrived rescuers, police, doctors, psychologists and government officials. The apartment where the accident happened, was almost totally destroyed, approximately 6-8 apartments of the other residents were damaged.
“The house was evacuated 34 people. For liquidation of consequences of emergency attracted 77 rescuers and 16 vehicles”, — told in gschs in Kiev. The explosion killed 67-year-old woman who lived in the ill-fated apartment. Still injured 80-year-old resident of the house.
Neighbours of the deceased told the “Today” terrible, terrible things. “Her husband died a few years ago, she was not the woman lived in the apartment with the cat. The day before the explosion, she went and told everybody that tomorrow will die”, — admitted one of the residents.
WILL EXAMINATION. The exact cause of PE remains to be seen, while you are checking a different version. “The apartment in which the explosion occurred, with a gas stove. But initial inspection does not indicate that it could be the source of the explosion or gas leak”, — reported in “Kyivgas”.
The KSCA has already stated that it will be a home inspection for accidents. “Goloseevskaya RGA together with the specialists of the construction of the laboratory will check the technical condition of the premises. If necessary, people can expect a temporary shelter on the street of Prague and on Obolonskaya”, — said Deputy KSCA Peter Panteleev.
Still – deployed operational headquarters, and the police are on the lookout for wielding marauders.
Recall that just two weeks ago, on 8 July, blew up a building in goloseyevsky Avenue: then was destroyed three floors of the building, killing two people, and dozens have had to leave their homes (some were also resettled in the hostel on Obolonskaya).
Final conclusions about the causes of the explosion are still the authorities have not sounded. But the version about gas explosion then, experts have been refuted.
