Vice-champion of Spain “Barcelona” has officially announced the transfer of Benfica’s and Portugal’s Nelson the Semed.
The Catalan Grand to the position of right defender is considering several options – scouts “blaugranas” followed Hector Bellerin (Arsenal), Djibril Sidibe (“Monaco”), Semed Nelson (Benfica), Alvaro Odriozola (“real Sociedad), Joshua Kimaam (“Bavaria”) and joão Cancela (“Valencia).
The main objective of Barcelona was considered the pupil of the club Academy Bellerin, however, Arsenal refused to release the Spaniard. Barcelona switched on candidate to the Semed and reached agreement on transition 23-year-old defender of “Benfica”.
For the Semed Catalans paid about 30 million euros. The player signed with the club a long-term contract, the details of which were not disclosed.
The semed played in Benfica in 2012, but the matches for the first team began to connect with the 2015-2016 season. In the “eagles” rookie “Barcelona” has played 65 matches in which he scored three goals and gave 12 assists.
