Ukrainian banks refuse to serve customers on the basis of an ID card – plastic ID new sample that replaces a passport.
State migratory service, supervising the issue of ID-cards, on the basis of complaints of citizens made up a list of the most conservative banks and asked the Bank to affect them.
“State migratory service receives a large number of complaints regarding the refusal on the part of the Bank employees serve the customers with ID cards. It is noted that most complaints about ID cards arrive at OTP Bank, Idea Bank, FUIB and Alfa-Bank.
In response, the national Bank sent on the financial institution and the relevant associations letter, which marked “about the organization of cash work,” once told the financial institutions that since February 10 this year, the ID card should be considered a full-fledged classic of the passport of the citizen of Ukraine.
