Banks gave half of debts to NBU

The debt refinancing was reduced to 23 billion hryvnia.

The debt of solvent banks of Ukraine to the national Bank on refinancing loans by 1 Jan 2017 $ 22,99 billion, which is 55%, or 27.9 billion UAH less than at the beginning of 2016.

According to the NBU, the debt in 2016 has reduced the state-owned Oschadbank – 11,501 billion UAH, PrivatBank – 9,033 billion, Ukrgazbank – 3,709 billion, Ukreximbank – 2,979 billion, and banks Bank Pivdenny – 541,99 million UAH platinum Bank – 347,2 million.

At the same time, during the year debts to the controller for refinancing increased Prominvestbank – 712,33 million, Diamantbank – 472,33 million, ING Bank Ukraine – by 13.16 million.

In his message, the NBU reminded that in mid-2015 does not provide stabilization loans to banks, and uses “only monetary tools to support liquidity of banks with a maturity of three months or less” secured government bonds, certificates of Deposit, foreign currency funds.
