After receiving several wounds, the offender tried to run from the room, but died on the threshold of the Bank.
34-year-old Lawrence Turner, the Bank’s employees of the U.S. state of Illinois notice for a couple of seconds before he ran into the premises of the Bank in a ski mask on his head and a gun in his hand. The suspect fired into the air and towards the guard, who was much better prepared for the situation than the robber.
After a short time, Lawrence realized that the robbery is unlikely to be successful and decided as soon as possible to leave the premises of the Bank. But a few well-aimed shots the retired police officer didn’t leave chances to the robber and he died on the threshold of the Bank.
An autopsy revealed that Lawrence Turner at the time of the attempted robbery was under the influence of drugs.
