Audi told about the new RS7

Audi RS7 Sportback new generation will complement the hybrid power plant with a capacity of 700 horsepower.

Audi RS7 Sportback new generation will be offered to customers in two versions. Evo it is reported with reference to chief designer Mark Lichte. The standard version of the car will be equipped with 2.0-liter petrol engine V8. The capacity of the unit will be 650 horsepower. The same engine is now being installed on the Bentley Continental GT and Porsche Panamera Turbo.

The unit will work in conjunction with the eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive quattro system. It is expected that with this motor on 100 km/h, the Audi RS7 will be able to accelerate in less than four seconds. Maximum speed — 305 km per hour. Premiere of this version of the novelty will take place at the end of next year.

Later the debut of hybrid versions of the car. It is not excluded that the power plant for this version of the RS7 will be borrowed from Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-hybrid. The total capacity innovations can exceed 700 horsepower.
