Audi has presented a car for the “Formula E” championship racing on electric race cars. New product called e-tron FE04.
On this machine, the pilots of the German mark will be in season 2017-2018.
Audi team in the “Formula E” is headed by the winner of the “24 hours of Le Mans” and the ex-pilot “Formula 1” Allan McNish.
At the end of last year, the company abandoned endurance races, deciding to focus fully on the “Formula E”.
The brand will be the first German manufacturer, which comes with its own team in the championship on races on electric cars.
In season 2018-2019 year of the series will be BMW team, and in 2019-2020 year – Mercedes-Benz.
