The Antimonopoly Committee approved the purchase
“Auchan Retail Ukraine” signed an agreement with the Ukrainian distributor “Caravan” to repurchase its assets.
Now “Auchan Retail Ukraine” has 11 hypermarkets in 5 cities – Kiev, Lviv, Odessa, Zaporozhye and Krivoy Rog, and also e-Commerce in Kyiv and the region. Network “Caravan” operates with 9 hypermarkets in Ukraine.
Thanks to the ransom network “Auchan Retail Ukraine” to strengthen its presence in Kiev, and is also present in four new cities – Kharkiv, Dnepr, the Zhytomyr and Chernivtsi.
The implementation of the buyout agreement is subject to obtaining permission of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine for concentration. Earlier it was reported that in the shopping center “Caravan” open “Auchan”.
