At Geneva airport Yatsenyuk was detained at passport control

Former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk detained for check of documents militiamen at the airport of Geneva.

This was reported by an eyewitness who was flying with Yatsenyuk on the same flight.

The former Prime Minister arrived in Switzerland on 23 December 0485 flight Kiev-Geneva.

“He apparently flew with his daughter. He was stopped at passport control and began to study his green diplomatic passport. All the time talking about Interpol, had a long discussion, and after took him apparently to clarify the circumstances”, – the eyewitness reported.

According to an eyewitness, the girl who flew with Yatsenyuk, asked him what his problems with the passport, and he said quite loudly, “It’s probably at the request of Russian.”

What happened to the Prime Minister on the witness doesn’t know, as it passed passport control, and Yatsenyuk where taken away. Probably for verification of documents.

“Country” has sent a request to the press service, Yatseniuk with a request to comment on the incident.

After some time on the page in Facebook the comment a press-the Secretary of the popular front Olga Lappo.

“No matter how absurd the accusations of the Russian sledkoma, but they have real consequences. Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who arrived in Geneva with the youngest daughter, was stopped at passport control at Russia’s request – already known to all the absurd accusations of involvement in the fighting in Chechnya. In ten minutes everything was out and missed. Notice that a similar procedure is possible in the flight,” wrote Lappo.

We will remind, in March 2017, Russia transferred to the Ukrainian Embassy a copy of the decision Essentuki city court of the Stavropol territory on the arrest of ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk on three counts.

Namely: “Participation in a stable armed group (gang) or in attacks committed by it”, “be responsible for the preparation of a crime and attempted crime”, “murder with aggravating circumstances”.

We are talking about so-called “Chechen case”, in Sledkom said Russia, supposedly have evidence of participation of the opposition in the clashes in Chechnya in 1994-95.

At the same time, Yatsenyuk himself calls the accusations fake and is going to sue Russia in the ECHR. And people, who had fought in Chechnya, saying Russian security forces are simply confused him with another Ukrainian, which Arseny Petrovich superficially similar.
