The Asus company has completed development of its first mobile computer based on ARM processor with Windows 10 from Microsoft. Currently the laptop is in the testing phase, and its parameters successfully leaked to the world wide web.
Its new mobile PCs Asus have built on top Qualcomm processor 835 that was to be expected – this is the only chip officially supported by Microsoft, plus he is the most powerful in the ARM segment. The laptop from Asus comes with 4 GB of RAM, and its screen will get diagonal of 12.5 or 13.3 inch to choose from. In the test Geekbench, the laptop earned 3710 points in multi-core mode, and this is relatively little, since the same Huawei MateBook X processor-Core i5-7200U from Intel gives the order of 7300 points.
From this it follows that all ARM laptops at Qualcomm 835 will be included in the average or base segment, plus not the fact that they will install a full “top Ten”: it is possible the presence of a cropped version of Windows 10 S with minimal functionality. We will add that on the same mobile PCs with similar size works HP, but only her creation will get 8 GB of RAM. Display laptops will be 2018 at CES in January or MWC in February 2018 next year.
