New planet GJ 1132b at a distance of about 38 light-years (370 trillion km) from our Solar system opened in 2015. Scientists called it the “second Venus”, in size it was comparable with Earth.
Astronomers were able to lift a certain veil of mystery of the planet. Researchers analyzed with the aid of a telescope the planet’s surface. They found that for GJ 1132b nepriznania the atmosphere, primarily from the rocky surface.
Furthermore, astronomers have pointed out that the planet has water vapor, and even methane. They did not rule out that GJ 1132b is the ocean. The surface temperature is about 600 degrees Kelvin, which equals approximately 326 degrees Celsius.
Scientists believe that their discovery will help in the future to study other similar planets-doubles.
