The development of a 1000-strong car was conducted in partnership with Red Bull.
Hypercar AM-RB 001, the joint development of the companies Aston Martin and Red Bull will be powered by a unique engine, which is specifically for this car will create a Cosworth. Detailed official information about power plant were published for the first time.
The novelty will receive a 6.5-liter atmospheric V12 engine, which will be paired with a seven-speed Ricardo transmission. The efficiency of the engine is not called, however earlier it was mentioned a thousand horsepower. With this powertrain hypercar can accelerate to 320 kilometers per hour in just 10 seconds, and at a complete stop from this speed, it will take five seconds.
Carbon monocoque of the car will be supplied by the company Multimatic, a specialist in the field of composite materials. Croatian firm Rimac in this project is responsible for a special set of batteries that will work like KERS in Formula 1 and Red Bull for the carbon fiber chassis. The British Wipac will create models of led lights, Alcon and Surface Transforms will prepare the brakes, and Bosch will supply all the electronics and security system.
Results will be released 150 civil hypercar and 25 track. All road machines, which cost about three million dollars has already been sold.
The first AM-RB 001 will reach their owners in 2019.
