Aston Martin has updated the line of cars of class Gran Turismo, presenting luxurious convertible Volante DB11.
Despite the fact that the convertible is a copy of DB11 sedan Coupe, it still boasts a few differences. For example, he got alloy wheels, a hood of aluminium alloy and, of course, a folding fabric roof. To fold the roof needed only 16 seconds, and in its rise spent 14 seconds. It also has a possibility to control the opening/closing of the roof with the key, or while in motion at speeds not exceeding 50 km/h.
DB11 Aston Martin Volante equipped with a new 4.0-liter V8 with a double turbo. Working in conjunction with the 8-speed automatic transmission, steering electric adjustment and differential with limited slip, the driver can adapt the vehicle to the road under the weather conditions. Dynamic indicators of convertible remained a secret.
According to President and chief Executive officer Andy Palmer to Aston Martin customers, Volante has always offered something special: a unique combination of elegant style, innate sportiness and responsive handling that place it above other convertibles.
On the market DB11 Volante will appear in the spring of 2018 with a price tag of 211 thousand dollars.
