A famous car manufacturer decided to fundamentally change its policy.
Statements about a complete transition to environmentally friendly electric vehicles do not only whole countries (e.g. France and Britain), but some automakers. The other day on the future abandonment of the vehicles with internal combustion engines was announced the British company Aston Martin, which plans to stop releasing pure petrol model and go to a hybrid model in 2025.
The automaker announced that by yourself will develop a platform for its future electric vehicles, and buy-side will only be the battery. Note that Aston Martin has already announced the release of hybrid crossover the DBX and all-electric version of the RapidE sedan, whose production will start in 2019.
After the transition to hybrids in 2025, the manufacturer will be 15 years to completely go to electric cars, as the UK has already announced the desire to ban the sale of petrol and diesel engines by 2040. However, it is unlikely the whole process will be too painful, as Aston Martin produces only a few thousand copies of their models a year.
