Mitchell will arrive in Kiev on 14 November.
Assistant Secretary of state for European and Eurasian Wess Mitchell will arrive in Ukraine in the framework of the European tour. As reported on the website of the US state Department in Kiev Mitchell will stay from 14 to 16 November.
The diplomat intends to reaffirm “the commitment of the United States to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine” and to encourage the continuation of important reforms. The representative of the state Department intends to meet with the authorities, representatives of business and civil society.
Note, Mitchell became assistant Secretary of state for Europe and Eurasia, October 12. He was succeeded in office Victoria Nuland.
