Spouse of the singer gave her an unexpected surprise, which moved her to tears.
Famous Ukrainian violinist and singer Assia Akhat recently celebrated her birthday. And if last year on this occasion, the artist staged a magnificent celebration with a big group of stellar colleagues, which then formed the basis of her video for “Disco”, then decided to spend my personal holiday in solitude. Assia flew all to new York, where currently recording their instrumental album with an American producer of Madonna and Celine Dion, Humberto Saticoy, but had no idea what awaits her birthday.
“I’m not making any plans, thought will spend the day alone. And in the morning get text messages: “Nix, I’m in new York,” says Assia.
This is the message the artist wrote the spouse who decided to surprise his beloved, and flew to her that in your birthday, she didn’t feel lonely.
“It was very touching! – says the singer. Igor gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers, we walked through the familiar streets, sat in cafes. Spent the evening at one of the Japanese restaurants, eating Asian cuisine in fusion style, and the next day scattered in different directions: Igor in Kiev, and I was then in America, to work.”
To congratulate Assia began long before the landmark date. “Text messages came during the day, wrote in social networks, called. At 12 o’clock in the morning I wrote a dear friend. It’s a lot of messages from co-workers. It was very nice, I love such moments, I think that upon arrival I note your birthday again. Perhaps this year is not as widely and loudly, but it just so happened: no meeting in the summer, everyone is starting to toast my birthday, so friends will arrange something necessary”, – said the artist.
By the way, not so long ago in one of his interviews, the singer told a touching story about how he met his fate: “One day when I was walking to the subway, on the street met her husband Igor. He was driving, and I with a violin crossed the road. It was a fateful meeting! Then there were no cell phones, it was difficult to date. But we broke up, and this day we both remember so far. Whenever Igor passes by, he calls and says that passing the place of our meeting.”
We will remind, recently Assia Akhat recorded a very personal song “Twist” and shot a video for it, which very soon presents. For this shoot, the singer had to go to experiment with his looks.
