Deputies of the state Duma of Russia now have the opportunity to admire the Donbass – in the building of the Russian Parliament, opened the exhibition “the Future starts in the past. Russia and the world. Syria. Donbass”.
It is reported that next to the portraits of the Russian and Syrian presidents, Vladimir Putin and Bashar al-Assad can be seen and the image of the leader of the so-called “DNR” Alexander Zakharchenko and well-known Ukrainian oligarch Rinat Akhmetov.
The fair itself consists of a series of paintings, divided into five stages: “Start”, “Legacy”, “Flourishing”, “Error”, “Revival”. In General, the exhibition shows the stages of the history of the industrial Donbas region and the current situation in the region, and in the last step shows how Russia is helping “restore” the East of Ukraine and Syria.
The author is honored artist of Ukraine Tatyana Ponomarenko-Leverash. According to her, part of the works it is taken from Donetsk after the war, so some of the works damaged in the shelling.
By the way, in 2015 in Moscow has already passed its exhibition on the Donbass, which presented 50 works.
At the opening of the present exhibition was attended by the singer and Deputy Joseph Kobzon and the main Communist of Russia Gennady Zyuganov.
