The system can detect lies with 92% accuracy.
Scientists have created artificial intelligence that recognizes false.
The developers believe that their invention will be used in the courtroom, in order to discern whether a person is lying behind the podium. On the invention worked, scientists from the University of Maryland and Dartmouth College, reports the Daily Mail.
The scientists called their invention the DARE (Deception Analysis and Reasoning Engine). To teach the system to recognize a lie, it was skipped 15 videos in which people responded in court. DARE to recognize the micro-expression and body language.
In the final test, the system showed a 92% recognition accuracy lies, which the researchers assessed as “good performance”.
