The lawsuit was filed in the Supreme administrative court of Ukraine.
The Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Artemenko appealed against the presidential decree, which terminated his citizenship.
About the Agency “Ukrainian news” said the lawyer, Leonid Artemenko Sivakov.
“Already appealed to the Supreme administrative court,” he said.
A trial date has not been determined.
Protection of a Deputy also sent to the presidential Administration with the request to provide a copy of the decree. According to Sivakova, such decrees should be published.
A decree on the termination of citizenship – the act of individual action, so it is not published on the official website of the President. Information can be provided only in response to the request.
Artemenko in early 2017 appeared in the center of attention after gave the US administration plan for the settlement of relations with Russia, providing for the transfer of the Crimea in the long term of this country. After that, the faction of the Radical party expelled Deputy from among its members, and the Prosecutor’s office opened criminal proceedings on the fact of treason.
According to the electronic Declaration Artemenko for 2015, his son and daughter are US citizens, and another son of Canada. In February, he also admitted that he is a citizen of Canada. Later Artemenko said that the cancelled canadian passport in 2014.
Despite this, in late April, President Petro Poroshenko terminated Ukrainian citizenship Artemenko.
