APU fighters took new positions on the arc Svetlodarsk, – ATO headquarters

If units engage in combat with the enemy, it is possible to counter.

The Ukrainian military has occupied a new position on the arc Svetlodarsk. It happened in the counter of ATO soldiers to militants ‘ actions.

It during a briefing was confirmed by the representative of the Ministry of defense of the ATO, Colonel Alexander Motuzyanik.

“If units engage in combat with the enemy, it is possible to counterattack, in which certain areas can go from “hand to hand”, and it is absolutely clear to people versed in this matter. I want to note that we are talking about the arc Svetlodarsk”, – said the speaker staff ATO.

He noted that according to the Minsk agreements, this is an area that should be under the control of the Ukrainian side, as the city Debaltsevo.

At the same time Motuzyanik said that the armed forces and other military units fighting in the area ATO strictly adhere to the ceasefire. However, the forces of the ATO reserves the right to respond to hostile attacks from the Russian occupation forces.

“We are talking about direct attacks on our strongholds, the shelling of heavy weapons in the case when we can identify the firing point of the enemy and we know that it will be outside the village and we will be able to maintain the fire,” – said the representative staff ATO.
