Soldiers of the 16th battalion of the 58th brigade of the armed forces appealed to the President Petro Poroshenko and the top political leadership of the country, urging them to stop all financial relations with the so-called LDNR. Video appeal posted to Facebook.
“We do not support any political party, but condemn the pressure, especially physical, to the veterans of the ATO, which are now by the trade embargo in the Luhansk region are struggling with the financing of the invaders. In addition, we are required to completely stop the movement of smuggling along the entire border of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. Each hryvnia sent to ORDO, is direct financing of terrorism. Terrorism, which for the third year in a row haunts our country,” – say soldiers.
At the same time, according to them, in the absence of energy from the Donbass, there may be “temporary difficulties”.
“But the memory and honor of those soldiers who put life and health on this bloody war, much more than this. We understand that in the occupied territories there are many people who love and support Ukraine. So we ask them with the understanding of the economic embargo, because in history there is no example where a country at war helm of his enemy. The army of Ukraine with the Ukrainian people,” – said in the appeal.
