Apple is considering issuing affordable 9.7-inch iPad in 2018.
Price of the device should be around $260, that is $70 cheaper than the current iPad.
It is assumed that the release of the budget model will allow Apple to attract new layers of consumers and hold quarterly sales at 10 million units. Apparently, the decision of the American company will cause a new wave of price competition among first tier manufacturers: Samsung Electronics, Amazon, Huawei and Lenovo.
