Apple wants to ban the repair of equipment not in service centres

Apple wants to allow for repair of technically difficult goods only those service centres whose employees have sufficient qualifications.

Apple Inc. wants to establish a legislative ban on the repair of branded equipment outside of authorized service centers.

Apple Inc. wants to allow for repair of technically difficult goods only those service centres whose employees are sufficiently qualified and trained.

Workshops must obtain the status of authorized service centers, as well as the right to direct supply of original spare parts required for repair.

In addition, as noted in the Apple, not all devices can be subjected to repair in the field.

“In such cases, we try to immediately replace equipment, broken, on new”, – summed up in a press-service of the company.
