The Federal Antimonopoly service of Russia ordered Apple to continue to replace broken screens on the iPhone directly to Russia without the possibility of refusal to perform this task. Earlier, while it is not filed in court, Apple is by all means avoided it, but now her actions are illegal, and rightly so.
Recall that in 2016, Apple refused to repair one of our fellow citizens its iPhone, citing that spare screens in Russia are not supplied. She offered him “a little bit” to pay extra and buy a new camera, and he took it and complained about it to the FAS. Of course, the case received wide publicity, and eventually Apple actions considered a violation of the law on protection of competition, and Apple Empire now can not get out — she will literally have to replace broken screens, and in some cases even to change defective displays under warranty, but not to send owners of its smartphones to where they came from.
Book screen repair in any of the authorized service centers across the country, but the cost of the rehabilitation works, nobody reported, because it will depend on the model and the General nature of the damage. This time the victory over FAS, and it can not but rejoice — Apple has shown who’s boss, and now the realization of its iPhone at inflated prices at least a little justified.
