The staff of Exeter University in the UK believe that in the future, Antarctica may become completely covered with greenery.

Scientists say that at the moment some parts of Antarctica are already covered with moss. It grows well in harsh conditions and are able to quickly colonize new territory. Of course, the process of greening of the continent is not going to happen at one point. This will happen gradually as the melting of ice.
Scientists from the U.S. and other coastal countries have long been sounding the alarm. They call something to do with the melting of ice around Antarctica. Experts say that by the year 2100 will disappear a lot of ice blocks. Fresh water from them will flood into the oceans. This has a negative impact on the territories of the riparian countries.
