Microsoft has named the date of holding its own press conference within the exhibition E3 2017. This was reported in the Twitter of the company.

The event will be held June 12 at midnight Moscow time. During a media briefing will be a presentation of a console Project Scorpio, which is the most powerful games console. It is noted that Scorpio is the code name for an updated version of the Xbox One.

Microsoft says that the performance of the graphics chip will be six teraflops, which is more than four times higher than the standard version of the Xbox One. According to insiders, the console uses the new generation of AMD graphics Vega, the frequency of compute units which is higher than the PS4 Pro. The processor system will not undergo major changes and will be able to increase the frame rate to 60 Hz using interpolation.

The console Project Scorpio was announced at E3 2016. It is expected that sales of the new consoles will begin in the fall of 2017. The console is designed for gaming at 4K resolution and virtual reality. In addition, it will support projects created for the Xbox One.
