This was stated in comments captain first rank of naval forces of Ukraine, first Deputy Chairman of the Union of officers of Ukraine Yevhen Lupakov.

“Today, the noise level of submarines is less than the noise of the sea. So now they become the most terrible weapon of the sea. To protect yourself from them is almost impossible. Here is what to think about Ukraine in the first place. If Ukraine had at least half a dozen submarines, we would have destroyed it to dust this old thing, that the black sea fleet into dust at the exit from the base,” said lupakov.
Earlier, the commander of the Ukrainian Navy Igor Voronchenko said that Western countries could sell to Ukraine their ships, which they no longer used in the Navy, however, acceptable to the Ukrainian side in age and condition.
