Announced release date of doll Noir detective “Merry murder”

Imagine “sesame Street”only in the atmosphere of film Noir, violence and black humor. Sounds like something brilliant, eh? It is this vision of the future contains the movie “Merry murders” (The Happytime Murders) directed by Brian Henson.

Unfortunately, Studio bosses, quite frankly, was in no hurry to help the project to be realized, and that for many years lay forgotten. However, in may of this year we learned that “Merry murders” will Melissa McCarthy: the actress will perform a leading role and will also act as the producer of the film. And in confirmation of their seriousness, the creators have announced the release date of the tape on the big screens. The premiere is planned for next year.

And here is the synopsis of the original film:

The film will unfold in a world where side by side live people and puppets. Star of puppet show “the Merry gang” are the biggest celebrities and crowd pleasers. But behind the scenes the actors lead such a life that would have reddened even the authors of the tabloids. And suddenly someone one by one starts killing the dolls from “the Merry gang”. To stop a series of murders have two seemingly incompatible detectives: this is a hot-tempered woman-a workaholic, keeping some mystery, and of coarse drink too much doll related to one of the victims. The heroes should quickly catch the killer, and to resist the temptation to kill each other.

Like “Who framed Roger rabbit” for adults! Here is cartoon dolls, instead of Bob Hoskins — star of”Spy” and “COP in a skirt”. Well, more Noir, more blood and guts! Again, there are hopes cherished a rating of R.

So, we wait for further news about the project. Shooting should start later next month and in theaters “Merry murder” will be shown August 17, 2018.
