Analyst at Macquarie Research Damian Thong (Damian Thong) said that the company Sony announces a new PlayStation 5 in the second half of 2018. He also spoke about the alleged characteristics of the consoles.

Experts suggest that the system PS5 will be announced in the second half of 2018, and will go on sale in 2019 year.
The console from Microsoft, which is codenamed Project Scorpio, will be presented June 12 in the framework of the exhibition E3. Its performance is more than four times higher than the standard version of the Xbox One, and based on the new generation of AMD graphics Vega, the frequency of compute units which is higher than the PS4 Pro. It is expected that sales will begin in the fall of 2017.
