The project social network Vkontakte under the name Snapster, which was supposed to compete with Instagram, announced the closure. This is stated in the official community Snapster.
The application will continue to function as editor, but will shut off their “rooms” (groups in which users can share their images).
“Snapster started as a bold experiment. We decided that it would be cool to create your own filters right on your phone and share them with your friends. We gained useful experience for the development of the services of the main application Vkontakte”, — said the developers in their latest publication.
