At the orphanage in Belgorod-Dnestrovsky of Odessa region, 19 people were hospitalized due to the outbreak of hepatitis A.
This was reported in the Odessa regional state administration on Saturday, June 3.
The outbreak occurred in Belgorod-Dnestrovsky orphanage “Centre for psycho-social rehabilitation for children.” The three children of hospitalized laboratory-confirmed hepatitis a, another 16 children remain under the supervision of doctors. Physicians estimate a condition of patients as stable.
“The situation is not extraordinary, it is not an epidemic. Localized flash periodically occurs in institutions where organized collective power. For localization and liquidation of fire specialists conduct the complex of anti-epidemic measures.
