A private company is trying to retain the unfinished sports facility.
The company “UkrsotsStroy” has filed a lawsuit against the city Council’s decision to return the “Ice stadium” in the city.
December 22, 2016 the city Council decided to terminate the contract of purchase and sale of the ice stadium, which was signed in 2010 between the city and “UkrsotsStroy”.
The document stated that the company “no real action to implement the terms of the contract on completion of construction, does not. This leads to the destruction of the facility and jeopardizes the possibility of its completion”.
The next hearing of the case in the economic court will take place on 20 February 2017.
