In the United States a Muslim has filed a lawsuit against the pizzeria that sold him the pizza with sausage pork disguised as Halal (conforming to Islamic norms). A man needs to pay him 100 million dollars as compensation.
Mohammad Bazzi, who lives in Dearborn, Michigan, in its lawsuit pointed out that twice bought in restaurant, Little Caesars pepperoni pizza, which was marked “Halal product”.
According to buzzy, he and his wife realized that eating pepperoni pork only once tried the pizza. The taste of pork’s wife learned buzzy, which before conversion to Islam was a Catholic. “We were bad sick,” reads the lawsuit. When buzzy is the second time I bought a pizza in the same restaurant, I again found it pork. The restaurant Manager in response to the complaint the men said that he asked to stick on the pizza box sticker “Halal”.
Buzzy secretly recorded a conversation with the Manager of the restaurant and decided to go to court. “It’s very sad. My clients want the public to know about it. Especially during Ramadan… Muslims should know that the pizzas from Little Caesars can be pork,” said edition of the Detroit Free Press the lawyer of the victim.
To eat pork is one of the worst sins for a Muslim, he said. A similar incident occurred in 2011, when it became clear that one of the McDonald’s restaurants in Dearborn sold nehalennia chicken, claiming that it is Muslims. Then the court ordered network of 700 thousand dollars.
