The company shared ambitious plans for the future.
The Internet giant Amazon has announced plans to create more than 120 thousand new jobs to meet the demand for Internet purchase before Christmas.
The company will recruit people to work in their distribution and sorting centers, offices as well as customer support.
Amazon always is increasing the staff at the end of the year, because during this period greatly increased sales of products in the online store of the company. Thousands of seasonal employees hired last year, eventually left the company on a permanent basis.
By the end of 2016, the state of Amazon has exceeded 180 thousand people, whereas in 2011, the company had 30 thousand employees. At the beginning of 2017 Amazon promised to create over 100 thousand new permanent jobs. Thus, the company plans to increase headcount to 280 thousand people by mid-2018.
Amazon noted that coming into the company people get a competitive wage, health insurance, insurance, disability insurance, access to pension programs and the company’s shares.
