Selling Ukrainian Alfa-Bank is not planned.
This was reported by one of the major shareholders of the credit institution Pyotr Aven.
“We are not going to sell,” said Aven, noting that the National Bank of Ukraine Alfa-Bank is now a “normal working relationship”.
Previously Director of strategic communications of the Ukrainian Alfa-Bank Denis Kazvan said after the pogroms in the beginning of the week, the Bank continues to operate as usual. The representative of the credit institution recalled that the Bank controlled by the holding company ABH.
“The shareholders are a group of individuals, among them two people from Ukraine, living in London, as well as the Italian financial giant UniCredit with a share of 9.9%. Only several shareholders with minority stakes are individuals – citizens of the Russian Federation”, – said Kazvan.
In addition to the UniCredit Group, the shareholders of the Ukrainian Alfa-Bank are Mikhail Fridman, Herman Han, Alexey Kuzmichev, Petr Aven, Andrei Kosogov and The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research.
