Choreographer Alain Shoptenko spoke about his 100-year-old grandfather.
The other day his anniversary was celebrated by the grandfather of the dancer. He turned 100 years old. The photo with the celebrant, Shoptenko shared on Instagram, however, said that this is the first time she broke up with her son for three days.
The star admitted that the separation had been tough on her, but her husband Alex, grandma and nanny helped Alena to look after the baby while she went to congratulate grandpa right on the lake.
“My grandfather – my great pride. War veteran, a sage and a real Colonel. I even can’t imagine how much he endured and suffered, and very proud of the fact that in its hundred years, he is cheerful, kept a positive attitude, and truly loves life and lives every day with pleasure”, – said Alena.
She added that her grandfather also captures “discipline”.
“What is called the “old military school”. Every morning he starts with the charging, stomping up the stairs so that I sometimes can not catch up with, and smiles so that any problems fade into the background. He constantly strives to learn something new, so we gave the grandfather an iPad, and I enjoyed the two days and watched as he quickly disassembled with all new features and lead fingers on the screen with the enthusiasm of a teenager,” he said proudly, Shoptenko.
