The occupation authorities of the Crimea made the decision on forced purchase of property Kerch switch plant and the Kerch metallurgical combine. This was stated by the so-called Deputy Minister of industrial policy Boris Kabakov.
“The decision on forced purchase of the assets of the two companies – Kerch switch factory (manufacturer of turnouts for railway tracks) and the Kerch metallurgical plant (produces steel enamel ware), he said. – At the same time, the decision on the establishment of GUP Kerch metallurgical plant, which will be transferred the purchased assets of these companies,”
Kabakov also said that the so-called industrial policy of the Crimea, by Executive order, created at the enterprises of a temporary administration that will deal with the inventory of property and its valuation for repurchase.
According to him, the switch plant was in Kiev, and the steel mill in Kryvyi Rih of Dnipropetrovsk oblast of Ukraine. Kabakov has refused to name the owners.
However, a source in the occupation authorities said that both plants belong to companies affiliated with Ukrainian businessman Rinat Akhmetov.
Kabakov found it difficult to name cost of the property of these companies. “After foreclosure of the property business will do the same, but we will help them with orders, including from the state,” he said.
